I have tried to find out when Henry died. He seems to have been a remarkable man. In 1873 he was blinded and lost part of his arm in an accident at Bolcow Vaughan mines. In 1892 he was to be evicted from his grace and favour home so he took Bolcow vaughan to court in order that they promised to let him stay in his house. His brother asked that if they did have to move that the new accommodation would be suitable for Mary as she was a dress maker. (Mary was also deaf) the In 1900 he walked from Eston to Saltburn in 2 1/2 hours, without a guide, even though he had never done the walk before. He wanted to meet Mr Toyn. There are a few advertisements as well but I just can't find anything about Henry's death, so hopefully the memorial stone will shed some light on that for me.
